A joyous celebration of the Harela Festival at Stone Ridge International School!

Our
morning assembly was a vibrant showcase of tradition and enthusiasm,with the soulful chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, creating a serene and uplifting ambiance. The young stars of Grade 2 stole the show with their heartwarming and lively dance performance to the traditional Harela Song, filling the air with festive cheer and showcasing their incredible talent!


The highlight of the event was the ceremonial Harela cutting by our esteemed Principal Sir, a symbolic gesture of prosperity and harmony with nature. In his inspiring motivational speech, Principal Sir spoke passionately about the significance of Harela as a festival that celebrates environmental consciousness and community spirit. He encouraged our young learners to embrace sustainable practices, such as planting trees and conserving resources, to contribute to a healthier planet. He also shared a heartfelt message about the power of unity and perseverance, urging students to approach their studies and personal growth with the same enthusiasm they showed in their performance.
