Special Assembly on Traffic Awareness by Class 11 Commerce Students
The Stone Ridge International School held a special assembly on Traffic Awareness, organized and presented by the students of Class 11 Commerce on 8th August 2023. The assembly aimed to educate fellow students about the importance of adhering to traffic rules and promoting road safety.
The assembly commenced with a prayer, invoking blessings for a safe and informative session. The students began by delivering a series of informative segments, including news updates and an engaging article related to traffic challenges and the need for responsible driving.
The highlight of the assembly was Mime that emphasis on the significance of following traffic rules. The students demonstrated the needs of following traffic rules via play. They also presented statistics highlighting the alarming rate of road accidents caused by negligence and disregard for traffic regulations. They stressed the impact of responsible driving on reducing accidents and saving lives.
Mr. Sanjeev Stephen, the school principal, addressed the gathered students and appreciated the efforts put in by the Class 11 Commerce students. He acknowledged the relevance of the topic and the role of young individuals in fostering a culture of traffic awareness. Mr. Stephen encouraged students to become ambassadors of road safety and encouraged them to spread the message beyond the school walls.
