Stone Ridge International School celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August 2025. The entire school campus
was adorned with tricolor decorations, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all students and staff.
The event began with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony. The National Flag was hoisted by the Principal, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem by students and staff, filling the air with patriotic energy.
Following the flag hoisting, a speech was delivered by a senior teacher, highlighting the importance of Independence Day and reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. This was followed by a speech by a student representative, who eloquently expressed the responsibilities of the youth in building a stronger nation.
To celebrate the spirit of patriotism, students performed a patriotic song that resonated deeply with the audience, receiving loud applause. The cultural segment continued with a vibrant Bihu dance performance, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Assam and emphasizing the unity in diversity that defines India.
The program concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal, who praised the efforts of the students and teachers in organizing the event and urged everyone to uphold the values of freedom, equality, and integrity.
As a token of celebration, sweets were distributed among all students and staff, adding a sweet touch to the memorable day.
