Description:
A day was specially dedicated to safeguard and protect our teeny weeny toddlers and give them the warmth of wellbeing through a deliberately planned programme on “Good touch and Bad touch”.
The children learnt to identify the “No touch” areas and understood that who are safe adults and whom to report when there is an alarming situation.
They have also learnt to handle strangers and say ‘NO’ to unwanted touches by running away and shouting out loud. They were taught to inform about such happenings to their parents or adults whom they trust.
The skit conducted by the kindergarten teachers gave a clear picture about the above. The skit was based on the THEME : GOOD & BAD TOUCH to achieve an objective of spreading awareness and educating children about good and bad touch, at a time when child abuse and molestation exist as dark realities in society today.
Recognising the Good Touch And Bad Touch became much more clear through the worksheet activity conducted hand in hand.
